I wanted to get away from the busy ER at a hospital. Not a lot of appreciation there. You may or may not feel like you actually accomplish anything there. Here it's still busy, but its different. This is the best job I have ever had. My manager is the best and cares about her employees and will do everything possible to help us out when needed. The work atmosphere is great and I feel it is more like a family than just work.

Here, we are one big team. No isolation. Everybody works together. Radiology helps with running labs, etc. We all help each other from doctors to clinical staff to front office. This is one of the things that sets us apart from other hospital settings: We all help each other, we all communicate. Nobody ever says 'Oh, that's not my job.'
